Eine Begründung ist meist der falsche Inhalt

Bei einer gewöhnlichen eigenen Kündigung muss die persönliche Begründung nicht in den Brief. Sätze über einen neuen Arbeitgeber, Unzufriedenheit oder private Gründe schaffen zusätzliche Angriffsflächen und können unterschiedlich ausgelegt werden. Auch ausführliche Kritik an Führung, Bezahlung oder Arbeitsabläufen gehört nicht in dieses Dokument. Dafür sind getrennte Gespräche oder eine sachliche Mitteilung geeigneter.

Keine Bedingungen und keine versteckten Verhandlungen

Formulierungen wie „falls ich eine andere Stelle bekomme“ oder „wenn die Abteilung sich nicht ändert“ machen aus einer klaren Kündigung eine bedingte Erklärung. Bitten Sie deshalb um eine nachvollziehbare Mitteilung zum verbleibenden Urlaub und zum Stand des Kontos. Urlaub kann grundsätzlich durch freie Tage genommen werden; eine Auszahlung kommt nicht immer an deren Stelle.
